6" Thomas Danforth Plate
Here is an exceptional 6 1/8" single reed plate by Thomas Danforth III. He made pewter between 1777 and 1818 in Stepney, Connecticut and between 1807 and 1813 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The back is center struck with Thomas Danforth III's no-name (L370) Eagle touchmark. The plate is in very good condition with minimal knife marks. Hand lathe turning lines and chatter marks are clearly visible since the plate shows no wear. The exact diameter is 6 1/8".
