two 9 3/8" townsend export plates

i am pleased to offer this very good pair of 9 3/8" townsend and compton plates made for export between 1784 and 1801.  townsend, a quaker preacher, worked in london, england with compton and exported a good deal of pewter to america.  these plates are in very good original condition.
