early decorated dish
i am pleased to offer this eighteenth century, 11 1/2” european dish covered in relief and punch work decoration. the four maker’s initialed touchmarkes are “fdl” hidden in the decoration on the front. this proves the maker was also the artist and that the decoration is period to crafting. the nearly 300 year old dish has been left uncleaned and the surface has accumulated a dark gray patina. the dish is in good condition.
