decorated hopper candleholders

I am pleased to offer this exceptional pair of 10 -1 /8" decorated  candleholders.  they were made and marked by henry hopper of new york city, 1842-1847.  hopper specialized in heavy cast well designed pewter.  some of his output is decorated such as these, making the items special to the american pewter collector.  this pair is in excellent condition with no wear to the delicate decorative bands applied by the maker.
