here in excellent condition is a 12 1/2” ladle by john palethorp of philadelphia, pennsylvania. he worked from 1820 to 1845. he picked up where parks boyd left off in business. many of this casting molds were originally boyd’s. many pieces marked “love” were made by palethorp as well. (la 9)
