danforth pint mug

i am pleased to offer this 18th century connecticut pint mug, likely made in hartford between 1786-1800. the mug is nicely engraved “Jt” on it's side, and is identical to engraved edward danforth quart mugs that are pictured in the pcca’s book “pewter in american life” on pg 36. the pint stands 4 3/4” tall, has 3 1/4” top and a 3 7/8” bottom diameter. there is a partial touchmark inside. the mug is in very good condition.
